Paisley
First of all - LOVE this place!!!!!!! I am so enamored with the helpful and friendly people here, along with incredible advice! Unfortunately, I've not done a single household chore like I had planned to today! Think I've been glued to this site for at least 3 hours straight now....and w/o any potty breaks! :undecidedOkay...here's my question. Is there any difference between the benefits of non-fat milk and whole milk powders? Would the whole milk powder be more emollient since there is more milk-fat in it? I'm dying to make some milk bath powder, and just want to know which one would be more beneficial to the skin. Thanks!
jazzbo848
i have made milk bath with both whole milk powder and skim milk powder and have found no appreciable difference, except for the fact that the whole milk powdered baths seemed to go "funky" before the skim milk powdered baths.hth, cheryl
Paisley
Hhmm...I'm guessing that happens 'cause of the higher amount of milkfat/solids that make it spoil faster. Thanks so much for your help! Guess I'm gonna hit the supermarket today to buy powdered milk. I'm so happy to hear that the non-fat is (probably) the better choice..easy access and no shipping fee! Thanks again, Cheryl!
