Guest EMercier
I've been doing candles and a little bit now. I've never done pillars and really don't want to start, but I've been getting requests. This is good because this person only buys pillars and buys a lot! I've just going to do simple one color ones with scent and different sizes. My questions:What type of wax do I use? What type of wick do i use?Are there any additives?I'm going to check out the basic instructions on here as well as candles and supplies (since that's where I get the majority of my supplies). Just wanted to get feedback from here. Thanks in advance.
Breanna
Hi there,,I use peak pre-blend pillar wax MP145 @ www.peakcandle.com I use 3x6.5 pillar molds as most of my customers use this size,,,and with this wax all you need to do is add FO and Dye. I use 24 ply flat Braid wick,,,,Peaks has a starter kit you can purchase with 10LBS wax, Fos, mold, pour pot and some other stuff,,,,HTH I am sure others will chime in,,Let me know if you have any questions :highfive:
