Darbla Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 I don't like to use water in the top dish of those little tea light oil warmers (some people call them oil burners) because if it evaporates, what's left will scorch. scentsme Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 I pop an unscented tealight out of the little metal cup & I put it on the top of a burner. Then I just add some droplets of oil to that & I have an instant tart! I will say that when it finishes burning, when I pop it out, there is a little greasy spot on the tart burner. Sharon in KY Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 Maybe mineral oil. I think Johoba has a high heat tolerance. Grape seed oil can take high heat but a short shelf life.
