marika
I thought I was being clever, storing my finished soaps in my clawfoot tub between farmers markets...Yesterday my septic backed up and filled the tub (with washer water thank god) and ruined 60+ bars
eugenia
That stinks. Can't you rinse them, put them on a rack and let them dry? Plenty of soapers give their bars a bath before polishing. I would give it a shot; you have nothing to lose.e
Kymber
I would definately wash them up and put them on a rack to dry. I wash my soaps all the time to give them a really nice shine!
Ring of Fire
Holy shit, literally. I would not want washed sewer soap. You people are making me want to go back to detergent soap at Wal-Mart if this is a normal practice. Disgusting. Crap E, hope none of the soap I have bought from you was in the toilet first, LMAO
Meridith
I'm sorry to hear this happened and it would have bummed me out too. That is just the pits. But Ewwww cleaned up or not, I'd hate to be the customer that ended up buying one. Plus, I wouldn't want to touch them to clean them. I would just chuck them and change the location where I store them from now on. If I wouldn't want to use them after this, I can not imagine my customers would be O.K. using them. Just tell them what happened and I bet you won't be able to give them away.

firegirl
Marika.. I am so sorry for you! We all know the labor and money that goes into every batch!Teri
Kymber
Well I didn't say I would SELL them....but I would have washed them up knowing it was water from the wash machine and not the sewer. And of course it would also depend on if they floated around in the water for awhile...if they had then I would have tossed them.
