Sharon in PA
Do you folks wick up on DS Blackberry Jam Butter Cookie or do you find that easing up on the FO load is enough? Thanks!!
debscent
Sharon I ease up on the FO load. If you have too much in your candle, it doesn't smell nice. I honestly think I do 3% on that one. Too much and it almost has a vinegar smell to it. Wow, that one is a kicker, that's for sure.
Sharon in PA
Thanks Deb, yea, it sure is a strong one, I wonder if there's a wax it WON'T throw in!!!???
Tereasa
I use soy and never have to wick up... I still use 7% though, and it's strong, but not overbearing.
debscent
If I used 7% in my 50/50 wax it's way too strong. My first batch was at 6% and a 9 oz. hex jar was too strong, we blew it out. I have a tester at work who puts a candle on the floor of her office (under her desk) and if I can smell it at my desk (which is 5 offices away), then it's a keeper...that one I asked to have her blow out. I love that scent though.
