ShoogieScents
Whenever you to a test batch, do you use a complete pound of wax and pour into 2 8oz containers or just one large 16oz container. I have a couple of girls at work that are willing to test for me. My last batches I made, I put them into 3 oz containers, but I don't want to waste any wax so I am wondering if I just make one or two larger containters per test batch? SoyCandleQueen
You want to test every type of jar you would like to eventually sell. Everytime you change jars, test that jar. HTH.Dawn

ShoogieScents
But do you only do ONE jar per test run or do you make up several jars out of each test batch? Like do you make up ONE 16oz jar or 2 8oz jars for each test run Thanks,Bobbiewww.ShoogieDesignz.comDesigner Websites, Boutiques & More... mizbizzyb
Depends on your jar size. Some people drill a hole to test a wick.I can't figure that out - so lets say I want to test a new FO in my tins. I would pour 2-3 testers with the normal wick I use and one size up and one size down.So I you are planning to sell 8oz and 16oz candles, I would suggest testing both sizes. I try to do mine all at once so I don't have to go back to test a size or scent.
