islandgirl
Hey George, Try pouring slower. If that does not work, you can always do a second pour and top it off. I have been using this wax for a few months now and I pour hot, about 165, and slow. That seems work for me.. HTH:D
nay2120
I've been using this wax since about Sept. and I think I finally have it down.I add my FO at 175, then I wait until the wax starts to get a little cloudy, and there is slight thick feeling to the wax. I pour into the jars, and seem to get really nice smooth tops, no air pockets.I do pour this at a much warmer temp than another straight soy I was using before.HTH, Renee
nbkfdu4
I use C-3 and was getting air pockets as well right around the wick. I warmed my jars up in the oven on low temp. I pour hot around 180. The other day I had my small fan heater on my workbench and I warmed the jar up putting it in front of the heater and then after I poured at 180 I put in back near the heater/fan. I haven't had a air pocket since. I guess because the jar is warm and t's cooling down around the same temperature. Sounds crazy I know but it works.....
