benthere-donethat
This is the week for liquid soap posts:I'd like to experiment with natural colorings (alkanet root, spirulina, etc). I've used them successfully in CP soap, but I'm new to the world of liquid soap. Does anyone have advice about how to use them? For example, I was thinking of soaking the diluting water in parsley or something before I add it to the soap... Thanks for your help. kidsngarden
Ok, I'm new at LS too, but I bet if you soaked something in the dilution water and strained it really well it would work just fine - but be sure to strain it our you may have problems with the pump!Bethany
CareBear
I know in bar soap I get a lovely orange from infusing my oil with annatto seeds and then straining them out. I make a big batch of LS tho and then color & fragrance portions of it differently so I haven't tried it with LS yet.
cbv1
I use herbs and infusions in my CP soap but I haven't vertured there in my liquid soap. I made my first batch scented with Lavender EO and then put them in purple pump bottles. I was afraid I would ruin my first batch by experimenting with color. I will keep my eye on this thread to see what advice you get!
