elegantnaturals Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I've done a couple of searches for info on MP in scrubs and although I found recipes, I didn't see any posts about results from those experiments. If you have tried putting MP in your scrub, would you please post your results? Inquiring minds would like to know!TIA Quote
candlebean Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 I've only tried it once, and it turned rock hard - I don't have the recipie I used in front of me, so I can't give exact amts or percentages, but it was horrible. I might try to modify the recipie and try again someday, but it's on the back burner for now. Quote
Crystala25 Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I tried it once about a year ago and it was awful. It was super greasy, real thick and chunky and it felt like I was just scooping piles of wax onto my skin. But, thats just my experiment with it, maybe others have had better luck. Quote

I had the same experience.. I just figured that I did something wrong.. Quote
elegantnaturals Posted July 7, 2007 Author Posted July 7, 2007 I added some to an emulsified scrub and it worked...kinda. It's still really stiff but if I reduce the amount of MP in the scrub, it won't be as "soapy". I know there is a way to do it, I just haven't figured it out (and I'm quickly running out of MP to play with). Thanks for your input! I appreciate it! Quote
Jadryga Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I keep meaning to get a block to try, but I keep forgetting. Must remember to get some later today! Quote
