soycool
The website has soy performance as strong in candles. For those of you who use pure soy, does this ring true? I think I want to try this supplier for the first time. What do they package their oils in? Thanks,Natalie
madcitysue
Hi,Easy question first, Daystar uses HDPE to ship their oils. Now, which oils in particular were you thinking about in soy? Off the top of my head, these I have used with good success in terms of hot throw in soy:Buttercream FrostingIle FlottanteCreme de la cremePeach Jam cheesecakeBlackberry Jam Butter CookiesKiwi lime sherbetCoconut PearI am sure there are more, but I have been very pleased with these in soy (as well as B&B products), and the service has always been top-notch.HTH. soycool
Thanks for the response, I am considering Dazzle and all of the ones you mentioned except for the key lime and the other last one. I dont know what HDPE means can you help me out? Thanks for the fragrance suggestions.Natalie
Pooh
I dont know what HDPE means can you help me out? HDPE (high density polyethylene) is just a type of plastic. It's commonly used for bottling and shipping fragrance oils. HTH
