GrandmaArial
Has anyone tried “Bigelow’s Vanilla Chia” tea? Hubby picked me up a box and the smell is heavenly. Very earthy, slightly musky, spicy with out being hot. I love the smell, and would like to make an oil infusion that smells like it. I know I would have to adjust the proportions, I can smell pepper and cinnamon, so need to go very light on them, also vanilla, black tea, and I can smell cardamom and I’m pretty sure orange. What am I missing?
jaybyrd
I haven't tried the Bigelow vanilla chai, but these are some of the more common chai spices I've used in my mixes, in addition to what you've already mentioned. Maybe they'll ring a bell?AllspiceCloveCorianderStar AniseMaceNutmegFennelAniseedGingerHTH!Jeri

Christina
Wouldnt you be able to just infuse the tea itself in oil?Christina
GrandmaArial
Wouldnt you be able to just infuse the tea itself in oil?ChristinaHubby sugested that, but I don't like the idea of not knowing what's in it, so would rather dupe it.
