valerie6
Hi,I was wondering what other of you thought. I used 4 tbs. of beads and 1oz of cherry coconut fo and mix about 2 days ago, they are still not even close to dry and alot of liquid on the bottom of the jar, thought maybe I should add more beads but was not sure how much to start with. Do you start at a teaspoon at a time or what do others of you do?Thanks so much!!Valerie
judyvega
Are you shaking them often? If so and they are still not soaking you can add more beads. But make sure that you are shaking them.
dashmo37
That is a lot of FO for that amount of beads. I would add more beads. I place mine in plain sight where I can give them a shake/stir a couple of times a day.
IndyGirl
I use 1 TBS per 1 cup of beads..........add some more beads!
judyvega
Oops, yes, that is a lot of FO - I read it as one tbs - you should use one Tbs fo per four tbs beads.

IndyGirl
Some oils soak up very slow, not at all, and very fast! Warm vanilla sugar..........I will not make becasue it is so thick it doesn't want to soak in. Cinnamon.......soaks up in a day! Crazy beads! Jami
For 4 tablespoons of beads, it is 1 tablespoon of FO for 8 tablesppons of beads it is 2 tablespoons of FO.There are 2 tablespoons in an ounce so I would add 4 more tablespoons of beads. That should take care of it
valerie6
Hi,Well I just measured the fo and 1 oz is about 2 1/2 Tbs. of oil so I added 4 more Tbs of beads I know it probably should be 6 but 4 looked like alot so I will just wait and see, and add more if I need to. It was really late when I made them and my baby was asleep in my room where my directions were and did not want to wake him, guess that's what i get for trying to remember off the top of my head, at least it is an easy fix!!! :smiley2:Valerie
