TartAddict
Hi all!I was searching through threads in my ongoing attempt to increase the throw in my tarts I read where one person added vybar to her OK6228. I have been using a 50/50 6228 + J223 blend, but am leaning more towards more 6228 since I don't like the softer tarts. I know that OK6228 is a pre-blend, and I'm wondering if adding vybar anyway would help increase scent throw at all? Any thoughts? Thanks guys D
DanaE
Although it's a preblend, you can still add vybar to help increase the scent throw. Don't add more than 1/4 teaspoon per lb of wax and you'll be fine. I've used this wax since 1999 and started out using 1/4 teaspoon of vybar and a couple of tablespoons of crisco and always got wonderful candles.DanaE
TartAddict
Your post was the one I was referring too ! I will definitely give it a try. Don't have any Crisco though, so I guess I'll just try the Vybar! Thanks so much, Danae!D
