valerie6
Hi,I was wondering if any one had any suggestions on the best way to level a palm pillar, I heated up a pan in the oven and slid it across, and that did not seem to work, any suggestions would be great!!Valerie
Mexitan
I use the presto griddle, and use a level to make sure I melt it straight, works like a charm.
Stella1952
I heat up a pan in the oven and slide it across. Palm wax has a very short length of time between liquid and solid - it doesn't get soft like soy or paraffin - either hard or liquid. Might wanna slide it a couple of times. Toni S.
Valerie,I'm with you on the leveling!! Can't seem to master the trick. I do know that they turn out much better "if" you put a level on the tops when doing this. Although mine still aren't completely even. Some of mine look like I had a few too many drinks when I did them:eek: Good luck with the pillars tho'
R.S.
If you need to make a really small adjustment, a microplaner does a great job. Every kitchen should have one of these anyways. Best zester ever, not to mention what it does to parmesan cheese!
