SoapDiva
I messed up the lye/water mix, of course I realized this once I added the lye water to my oils. I have a soupy mess now.I read and wrote down the wrong amount of lye to add to my water. Ugh. Dumbass. I added 1.68 oz instead of 6.37 oz. Am I able to add lye straight to the oils and water mix? I hesitate to throw it all away eh?I don't know what happened, I am usually obsessively cautious. Thanks in advance.
eugenia
Chuck it babe, and change your name, LOL. The lye has to be dissolved in water.

Darwin
Well, since I hate to waste, I would try to save it by letting it harden and then griding it up and putting the grindules in with a new soap. LIke embed them in to the next bar, by adding about 1 cup per pound of soap. LIke confetti soap, I dont know if it would work though, I have never tried it. But if that happned to me, that is what I would try. i can't promise anything.
