flamingchalice
Hi All!I'm about to place an order with Peak for tealight containers and wicks. I have been using the zinc core wicks, and they seem to perform fine. Some mushrooming... but not bad.Has anyone used cotton core wicks for tealights before? I've used them for larger containers, and I like them, if they are kept trimmed. If you were ordering wicks for tealights, which way would you go?Thanks!Krystal
lbrandcandle
Hi, I am a new user but have been making candles for about 5 years and I use nothing but cotton core wicks in my tea light candles.I used to use zinc core wicks but found friends didn't like the way they burnt in the tea lights. I did some testing and found the right cotton core wicks for my tea light candles. I did a lot of testing before I found the right one. I do recommend Peak candle supply for cotton core wicks. Buy a small order of each type of wick and test them before you buy larger orders from them.I hope this helps
