Godiva
I took this video of a candle I made with GL 70/30 and doublewicked with Eco 1's. The flames have danced like this since the 1st burn. I do however get a nice melt pool, good scent throw. There's just a little soot - you maybe able to see it on the upper right rim area. I can calm these flames with a capper, but otherwise they dance. Is this acceptable, or should I keep experimenting with different wicks?http://www.godivadiva.com/images/5.06.07_3210.MOVThanks! Violetsexoticcandles
I think it looks fine. Is that a bulb jar? I'm selling those, but I am using one wick for the 6 oz one, 2 for the 10 oz.It looks pretty. Soot can be a problem in those jars with lips. I'm still playing with wicks. Let me know if you decide to wick down or switch to one wick.
Tizimarezie
When I get dancing flames, it usually means I'm using too large a wick.
