Kaybee23
I am thinking of dabbling in a 50/50 parasoy blend. In general, what are the pros and cons to this type of mix? I am using 100% soy now and want to buy some to play with and just wondered what to expect? I have been unsuccessful at getting my lighter “water type” FO’s that I like so much, to throw well in my plain soy and wondered if adding the 50% paraffin to the mix improved it at all, and if smoking wicks and sooting is a problem with it. scents for me
I don't like just plain soy, I think you will be happier with a blend. No cons to speak of, IMO. Throw is much better, no smoking wicks, white junk etc.
wookie130
I liked mixing J223 with EZ Soy 50/50...it made a very pretty looking candle, that was truly a one-pour. The colors were vibrant, the scent throw was great, and they have a beautiful creamy texture to them. I never quite got the wicking right with these, and being the stubborn person that I am, I'm going to give 100% soy another try...I feel the need to master it!!! :highfive:
