try2chme
what do you use to stir in the dye and FO? does any one use a electric mixer?I use a whisk. Heard it helps to bind the fragrance and the wax together. I also heard that if you stir too much it creates air bubbles, which you don't want in your candle. So probably not a good idea to use an electric mixer.
TraciS
I use long stainless steel spoons. I use a turkey roaster instead of an oven to warm and clean. I heat my pour pots and spoons in there to wipe them out so I don't have to have and store so many. I have 8 pots and spoons so I just keep rotating as wax cools and I pour it. bearmnt
I use all metal butter knives that I found savers(20 in a bag for $2.99). They are wide enough to blend the fo and I can slice thru the blocks so they melt better.
amyrose2712
I use a wire hanger that I have bent and twisted to fit in my hand perfectly. Anything else feels "off". Weird how we get used to things. I love this site. So many ideas here.:yay:
