CareBear
I've got some skim that's about to "turn" so I'm thinking of letting it go and soaping with it. I've soaped with cream & half-&-half, but was wondering if I loved it cause of the superfat or what. So I'm gonna try sour skim, I think. If I don't forget. If I post in OT that something died in my house and I can't find it please remind me to soap that milk!!!
Pepperi
I've heard that you cannot use skim milk i'm assuming because of the no fat factor! Then again I don't make cp I just rebatch it!
arkangel
I don't see why you can't. You soap with water and that has no fat. I wouldn't expect the rich lather like regular milk, but you never know. Experiments sometimes yield the best results!
CareBear
I was curious if it was the extra fat or the other solids (protein & milk sugar) that added to the lather.
Tall Blonde
You could soap with it, but since it's fat-free, it won't be as creamy feeling as a full-fat milk (I think). You could always give it a try and report your findings! Or, just pour it in some bath water and take a nice, long milk bath.

The higher the fat content, the richer the soap.
