nanny
I have not made tarts before, I am thinking about it now but not sure what wax works best. I am currently using GB415 for container candles, can I use the same for tarts? Also need advice on using tins instead of glass jars for my candles. Any advice appreciated. tamsoycandles
If you don't intend to package the tarts for sale, then you can use whatever wax you want. If you want the tarts to hold up to mild handling abuse, then you'll want to use something more rugged, like a votive/pillar wax or the GB 474. You could also add some universal soy additive to the 415 to make it tougher. My last batch of tarts I use the 474. Works nicely.Tony
stacien
GB offers the 416 which is a tart wax.
arkangel
Can I add beeswax to cb135 to make it harder for tarts?
