cowgirl
I saw this recipe for gardeners soap and it said to use orange EO. On the brambleberry website there are 2 diff kinds of orange, which do ya use for M&P ? What is the diff between the 2 ???Orange - Organic Essential OilDistillation Method: Cold PressedCountry of Origin: USABotanical Name: citrus sinensisOrange Valencia Essential OilOrange essential oil is a very light oil. Orange is a light and airy mood enhancer that blends well with almost anything and is great in room spritzers and pillow sprays.Distillation Method: Cold PressedCountry of Origin: USAPart: PeelBotanical Name: Citrus sinensis 'Valencia'Warnings: Known photosensitizer - don't use in the sun or in lip balms.can either one of these be used in M&P or any kind of soap for that matter ?thanksnitra
RobinInOR
Yup, you could use either. They're both a straight orange - one's just organic and probably much more expensive. They might smell a bit different due to the varieties of the oils. Oranges can fade a bit, though I've never used it in MP. Wouldn't fade as much there as in CP I'd expect. Another orange you'll see at suppliers is Orange 5x, which means it's been 'folded' 5 time - reprocessed. That takes out a lot of the photosensitizing agents, and makes it stronger as well.
