SilverOrchid
Hi, does anyone else make container candles from palm wax? I bought some container palm to play with and Im pretty sure it didnt cool slow enough,It poured perfectly and looked so pretty, however after it was lit it burned through the top layer to a sink hole underneath. I would love to master this wax but not sure if it's going to be possible?Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks,Kristy
CathyinME
You need to poke holes. I also pour my containers in 2 layers, seems to help with the holes.
Patience
That wax is definitely prone to air pockets. Cathy is right...poke relief holes.
SilverOrchid
Thanks! Relief holes it is, I'll try the 2 pour as well, does it leave any lines? I use a parasoy but thought trying something new would be fun.. so far it's giving me a headache LOL
CathyinME
Yes it does leave lines but my customers don't seem to mind!!
Carol M
I agree that poking holes and pouring in layers are helpful with this wax. Maybe you could use multicolor layers, then the lines wouldn't be an issue.
