Lorrie
My mom brought me some little metal buckets that she wants me to put candles in. At one time I thought that I read that you have to seal these with something before you pour wax into them. Is this true and what do I seal them with. Thanks
gottabt
I have used metal buckets and yes you should seal them first. Use three coats of modge podge with special attention to the seals. HTH,

Michi
No, not just the seams, I put it all around the insides, paying close attention to the seams, making sure all the crevices etc. of the seam are coated really good. The buckets I've done, burn really well.
