Michi
Ok, I'm burning applejack& peel in a smallish votive type glass that is approx. 2 1/4" diameter. For all the scents I've tried so far in this glass, I've been using a 44-24-18z which burns perfectly. This one (AJ&P) it's getting a FMP, but the flame is soooo tiny, it's almos non-existent. Does this mean I need to wick up? Has anyone else had to wick up using the AJ&P?Oh, and when it's burning, it's got a fuel smell, do you think that is b/c the flame is sooo small/struggling? I hope it's not just this FO (from Peak) cuz I really really like it. TIAMichelle
cindym
I would try to wick up, the fuel smell may be the colorant if you are using liquid.

Michi, you need to wick up.
Michi
No, I'm pretty sure it not the liquid dye giving the fuel smell, as that's all I use, and have never gotten this smell from any other candle. Thanks for the advice ladies, I'll repour and wick up one tomorrow and see. I truly hope this scent works, cuz it's yummy!
