julie c
I have 4625 melt point 145, and 4794 melt point 135. Which one would you recommend? Also, lost about wicking these, flat braided wicks? What size should I start with? These tapers are from a mold.Thank you!! Julie;)
ChrisR
I can't help you with the wax, as I use mostly beeswax for my tapers and the paraffin I occasionally use is KY 143. For wick is use square braid 2/0, which works great in both waxes with no dripping.
Candlebuddy
You will need a hight mp - out of the two waxes you mentioned, I would go with the 4625. I don't know what molds you're using but, with the grubby tapered silicone molds, I would suggest a 15-ply flatbraid wick. (The wick suggestion came from Candle & Supplies who actually sells that mold.)
julie c
Candleman... I thought about using a taper mold from Pourette. It's described as ABS plastic. Do these kind work ok? I did look at the grubby ones from candlesandsupplies. THanks a bunch. Julie
