starlessjade
I was just reading a web page about making pillars, and it said that aluminum molds are more durable but metal molds give candles a rustic effect. It didn't explain anything more than that, and none of the other instructions I've found for rustics say anything about needing to use any specific type of mold. So, do I need metal? Or is aluminum fine?

Alan
They both work fine. The candles here http://www.candletech.com/coldpours/were done in aluminum cylinders. HTHCheers,Alan
