Mozzie Posted February 16, 2007 Share Posted February 16, 2007 I have heard that adding too much vybar can lock up fo and wonder if stearine can do the same? I usually add stearine (to paraffin) at 10% but decided to try making tarts with 20% (just to see what happens) stearine and 9% fo and can't smell a thing. Any insights would be appreciared. TIA. I noticed this whan I switched to plain paraffin and add stearic in less quantities.My candles seems to have a better throw.If I were you I'd try to make tarts only with a pinch of vybar, and as you know, I use FO at 6%.HTH!
