sage
Has anyone tried putting chunks of mp soap in cp soap? If so did it melt the mp soap when it went into gel stage? I am wanting to try but didn't want to waste a batch of soap since I don't ever work with mp soap.
Jcandleattic
It can be done yes. When I've done it I don't let the cp gel. By doing that it hasn't melted the MP soap. But Depending on the size of the MP chunks you need to beware, they will melt (wash away really) faster than the cp so you could end up with gaping holes in your soap while using it. sage
Thanks! That made me laugh about the holes in the soap. It was a thought so may just leave that one alone.:rolleyes2
Gypsyjen
I have done this, and posted the pic in the gallery:http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17376I did not notice any difference in melting rates between the CP and MP.
