islandchandler
Hi everyone. As a newbie I have been reading tons of great info on these boards. I am looking for cute 4 oz jars to begin my journey into candlemaking. I saw the studio type jars and fell in love with them. I am wanting to make soy candles, but is this a difficult jar to start off with because of its shape?
Vicky_CO
What is your wax and the wicks you are trying to use?
islandchandler
I have eco-soya-CB135 and Cargill C-3. I have CD-12 and 14 wicks. Will these work?
Vicky_CO
I have been using the Cotton core from peaks for the most part the 70c, 75c & HTP104 So the 104 is close to the CD 12 that is where I would start with your wax. You need to get a few more sizes in the wicks at least 1 more up and one more down that way you can fine tune it in.
islandchandler
Thanks for the info -- I didn't realize there was so much experimentation to do with container and wick sizes!
