snow Posted January 28, 2007 Share Posted January 28, 2007 My girlfriend got me a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 4 inch oval mold for Xmas, it came with some wicking, seems to be like a cotton wick or something. Anyway it didn't say what size the wicking is. I want to use this mold for draped layered candles and I made one last night, didn't test burn yet. I want to know what is the best size wick for this mold in the Z series. Thats mainly what I use, with Astro V votive wax. But I am going to order more wicks today and if anyone has a better choice for this mold, could you please let me know. The wicking that came with it seems kinda on the flat side and maybe braided. Find the size and shape you have and they post suggested siizes of wick that will work for you. Remember these are only suggestions. It always works for me!
