ebarnes
Does anyone use EO in thier candles? If so, does the standard 1oz PP apply for EO's? I know that they are stronger than FO's and they cost a heck of a lot more as well. Please advise, thanks.
msmeredith
The amount is at most half of that. Normally I would use a little less than .5 oz per lb. But sometimes .25 depending on the eo if I am mixing.
The_Dallas_Texas_Dean
I just could not get EOs to work for me in any of the waxes I tried them in. The integrity of the oils seemed to be compromised by the heat. There was no consistancy... there were blending issues....well, the candles just sucked that I used EOs in. I know there are many companies that claim to use all essential oils...just didn't work for me in my waxes.
Rebecca
Same here. Couldn't get any of them to work and I tried paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax and various blends. I also tried different companies for the EOs didn't matter on any of it, nothing worked. Taylored Concepts has some EOs that are blended with FO boosters that are somewhat better but still the only one that I could get to "work" of those lemongrass.
