Help me rebatch

I have tons of scraps that I hate to throw away and thought about trying rebatching. I read somewhere to use powdered milk. Can someone share your favorite way to rebatch and how much liquid per lb of soap to use.

My favorite method is to put the cp soap in a turkey baking bag, and stick it in a crockpot of hot water. I usually ignore it for an hour or two and then put it in a mold.

I do pretty much the same, but in a pot of boiling water. I don't need to add any liquid to the shreds but it can take a couple of hours to melt completely, depending on how much you started with. This has created the smoothest, most pourable rebatches for me.

I went ahead and put the chunks in the turkey bag in a pot of almost boiling water. It took forever. I didnt have to add any scent or color as there was a couple of chunks of dk sage green. The ivory chunks did not melt, but it gave a really neat effect in the soap. I will post the pic when I get my camera back. Oh, and it set up well. i guess the best thing is not to worry too much about it. I was not going to be mad if it did not turn out, they were just scraps anyways.
