cjrhsk
Hi,I am still new to candle making. I have only used 3 FO so far. From reading all these threads I feel I should ask this question. I am using GW444. Has anyone gotten good results with apple cinnamon? If so, where did you purchase your FO. And is it 1oz. to 1 lb? I've gotten some requests for this. Thank you so much for your input.Janet
ragnarock47
Hi Janet,I made some apple cinnamon candles last night. I haven't burned one yet, but the cold throw is very nice.I got it from Natures Garden and they do state it's 1oz per lb. I used 8% which is about 1.3oz. Candlebuddy
For an apple cinnamon, I use Apple Danish (Heartfelt), Apple Strudel (Wildfire), or Apple Cobbler Delight (Fragrance Oil Heaven). Oh yeah, Baked Apples from Snowtop is good too ... heavier on the cinnamon.
logcabinmomma
I have been using C-3 and used NG's Apple Cinnamon and it had a great throw. I'm about to start testing GW 464 (local supplier), so I'll have to test all over again with that one...NG's is a MacIntosh fresh apple scent with a spicy cinnamon.-Kristi
stacien
Kristi I am glad you posted that. I have a bottle of NG's and still havent tried it yet. Not a big lover of that one, my husband picked that scent out because he was hungry at the time. I wanted to make a few for other people and wasn't sure how well it threw in soy. logcabinmomma
It's not a food cinnamon apple, so your hubby might be disappointed! It's very fresh smelling! If you WANT a food one, mix it with Sugar Cookie for a GREAT scent I called Country Kitchen. DH thinks it smells like Apple Turnovers.I personally LOVE the apple cinnamon though!-Kristi
