beau's mama
I've been using liquid colorant for my M&P soap, could that be why I can't get a decent swirl to save my life?I think I remember reading something about gel colorants Could that possible help the swirl stay swirled? Where the heck do you buy gel colorants? I haven't seen any on any of the sites I've ordered from, but that could be because I wasn't looking.TIASharon
Grumpy Girl
Swirling MP soap is more about temperature than color. It's got to be cool enough not to just absorb the color but not too cool to where it just sits on top of the "skin" that has formed. It's not easy, but can be done though. Some people do "layers" and call them swirls, it's a fine line.

xsami3000x
I actually got the prettiest swirls when I screwed up. I was trying to do layers and didn't wait long enough, poured blue onto white and it broke thru and swirled. It was very cool even though I was cussing it at the time.Sami
