KathyNJ Posted December 16, 2006 Share Posted December 16, 2006 I have some fo/wax combos that I made up last nite that I need to test the wick. I usually wait at least 24 hours before I test a wick. Has any one tested their wicks in soy in less time than that. I made these about 14 hrs ago. Do you think I could give it a go and get an accurate result:undecided Thanks for any input. geekrunner Posted December 16, 2006 Share Posted December 16, 2006 As far as I can tell, once the candle has completely cooled and solidified, you can wick test. You might not get an accurate assessment of cold or hot throw, but you can certainly assess the wick performance. Of course, I'm not a total expert here.
