cjrhsk
Sometimes I have one or two jars from a batch that the wax pulls away from the jar in a spot. Is there anything I can do about it after the fact. I have heard the wax cooled too fast. That is why this happens. Do you sell them like this? Thanks for all your help.Janet
ah-soy
These are called wetspots and everyone gets them from time to time...even the big boys...just check out a yank...next time you're around them. You can reduce this somewhat by making sure your containers are clean and heating them a bit before pouring. You can also cool them slower by either placing the jars back into the shipping box or grouping them together and covering them with a box or styrofoam cooler as they cool. Often they will appear anyway when placed in a colder environment like a shop or cool room. You can try heatgunning the spots, but they will often re-appear anyway. Most of us just learn to live with 'em!
