snow
does anyone have this FO? I got some and it smells great oob. I poured 3 candles of it and one of them has dark liquid in it that wont set up. What is that? I haven't burned one yet but I'm going to today. I'm thinking its one of those heavy oils maybe. I used a little over 1oz per pound. I've never had this happen. When the candle was hard I looked at the bottom and it was real dark and when I turned it over it was running up the sides of the jar, is that the oil or what is it? Please help, this is a new one to me. DeeI use J50 wax.
Crowded House
Are you talking about the Chocolate Brownie Special from BCN? I have that and I wouldn't consider it a "heavy" oil, necessarily.
snow
I got this oil from Crafty bubbles in Ohio. The bottle wasn't full, so I figure its a heavier oil, I had some like that, like vanilla silk. But never had that liquidy look. It's a puzzle to me. cindym
It's not water based is it?
snow
It doesn't say that is water based, but it only did it on one candle, I did 3. Could my wax have moisture in it? I have been getting really large wet spots lately. Just a thought
snow
The candle is burning now, and burning great and smelling great. I don't know what happened to that one, guess I can melt it down and try again.
