Katsews
I am very new to candlemaking and was wondering how to make Aroma melts. I would like to make some as gifts and I am not sure on what waxes to use or the amount of scent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Kathy:yay:
Aspencreek
Welcome. Aroma melts are also considered as tarts and melts. You will need to find a good wax and scent dealer near you and order some product. Then welcome to testing, have fun and enjoy yourself. Good luck. lindanelson
Hi Kathy; When I make melts, I use the same wax that I am pouring already. Whatever is left after I pour my molds or containers. I wait to see if I need to do a second pour though before pouring the melts. I use a mini muffin pan, or small candy/soap molds.
smart tart
I use 75% pillar wax and 25% container wax - use as much fo as you choose - depending upon fragrance. Do a search for tarts and you will find lots of information. Or just read back 5 pages and you will find lots of information.Welcome
