CandleFreak
After looking at all the FABULOUS mottled and rustic pillars in the gallery...I think I am *ready* to attempt it....I was looking into what types of wax I can get locally and the only types that looks like it will work is "mot 38" Anyone have any experience with this wax? Will it work well for the rustics? Any additives that I may need to pick up? (stearic, mottling oil, etc)TIAcrystal
Scented
Mot 38 is fine as it is. No need to add any mineral oils to it. It's already in there. You'll have to try it out for the rustic. Never attempted that with it. Just add some UV to it. It will sweat a little bit, but not as much as 1274 IMO.
Tanya
Mot 38 is great for mottling but for rustics I never had any luck.
