mguard Posted October 22, 2006 Share Posted October 22, 2006 Sorry for the repeat but I posted this under the vegetable wax thread and meant to submit it here!I use apothecary jars 10, 16 and 26 oz with either 2 44-32 z or 2 51 z and heat to 185 add 8% using 223. I really like this wax but am not sure why I am not getting that hit you in the face throw. I am using strong FOs (WYW, Peak) so I don't think that's the problem. It's also not candlenose because I am farming some out for friends to test. I was wondering what everyone else is doing with this wax to achieve that killer throw that so many people claim. Do you any tips for maximizing the scent throw with this wax -- i.e. adding a % of soy, using hotter wicks (HTP or cotton), only using 6% etc. I would love to hear what other 223 users are doing -- if anything.
