leisa2003
I was trying to figure out the costs for making tarts, so where I left off @ is how much wax approximately is it, to make 1 tart? I was thinking maybe 1 ounce of wax. Thanks for any input you can offer! Leisa

Candle Man
It depends on the wax (different waxes weight different) and the mold size.On average wax melts made with paraffin votive/pillar wax in the metal tart molds is 1oz.
SliverOfWax
Considering there are hundreds of different tart molds available, it is impossible for anyone to tell you how much wax you'll need to fill your mold, no matter how hard they try. The only way you will know is to weigh your mold empty, then weigh it filled with wax. This would hold true of any mold or container. It's all about simple addition and subtraction.
