jade
I poured a batch of CP at false trace & want to rebatch. Do I just rebatch & let it cure as if it were the first pouring? Thanks
Penny
Hi Jade, I'm new at rebatching CP soap, but what I've learned so far is that if the batch is at least two weeks old or older, it is already soap and you just need to rebatch and pour into your mold, allow it to harden and then it's ready to use. If you're going to rebatch an uncured batch, it will have to go through the curing process.Someone with more experience please chime in. Rebecca_IA
Jade, your rebatch is going to be more like doing the soap HP, by the time you are done, the saponification is complete and soap is ready to use (once hardened). Of course a cure always makes the soap better.
