Bismuth Oxychloride in Mineral Cosmetics?

I have a dilema and cannot make up my mind and was wondering if anyone could help. I have been working on selling mineral cosmetics and already have the products ready. My problem is that I don't use Bismuth Oxychloride in my products and am wondering if this is making a difference in them.

I should love my products, but I am so stuck on Bare Minerals that I'm not sure if the reason is because they use the Bismuth in theres to have that luster finish whereas mine are more matte. Does anyone have opinions on Bismuth? Or would anyone know if I was to add this to my products how much would I add or would it corrupt my products in any way? Thanks.
