MissyK
Since I am new at this candle making thing, I am using MMS Pina Smoothie in Cargill Container wax and I am getting a fuel smell. Why do you get that smell? Is it because of the FO? I'm using ECO wicks. HELP!!!!!!!!!
MichelleOH
You are going to find that citrus scents are hard. A fuel smell is very common problem with these types.
cindym
Besides the fo's sometimes liquid colors have a fuel smell to me. Try adding a bit of vanilla, that sometimes helps.
MissyK
I didn't add any liquid color to it but I also lit Brookstone's Pina Colada FO and it also had a fuel smell to it. I took out the wax and put it in a tart warmer and it smelled great. How is that? Well at least I don't feel like I completely wasted my money! MichelleOH
I would add some vanilla too it and see how that helps. Cindy is right about the vanilla:grin2:
