DONNAMAC
Hi, I am just curious about all the candle sites I visit and they all say we test in soy.I think that is great, but what does that mean for us parrafin users, or pre blens, such as J50, J223,,,etc. Are these just as good in those waxes as they are in soy. Thanks so much, it is just something I have always wondered about,,,,,,,,,,Donna
Everito Bandito
I assume that you are talking about fragrance oils. If so, then generally speaking it is widely believed that most fragrance oils throw better in paraffin than in soy. Therefore if they have tested for hot and cold throw in soy and they believe it to be good, then it would also throw well in paraffin. Crafty1_AJ
I agree with Bandito. I make both types of candles. There are some fragrances that throw well in paraffin, but do not throw in soy. The reverse is seldom true for me in my experience; if it throws in soy, it will undoubtedly throw in paraffin for me. HTH
wookie130
Yeah, this is true. If an oil will throw in soy, it will most likely be a big winner in paraffin too. The opposite is not necessarily true, though.
