Carol M
I notice that most recipes have about a 50/50 mix of hard and soft oils. Does having more hard oils in a recipe make it drying? Or does that depend more upon the particular oils used, whether hard or soft, and the superfat percentage?
eugenia
If you are going for a balanced recipe, upping your hard will lower other properties. For example, you can do 100% coconut, but the conditioning drops to 10%. With zero superfat, makes great laundry soap.
