topofmurrayhill Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 It should be kind of gummy and have a very slightly oily feel. This is scale wax, with a 1.5% oil content, not a fully-refined wax. It can be used straight with a modest FO load and it's very useful in combination with additives to make various kinds of harder or softer container blends.There are some fully refined waxes you can use in containers (either double wicked or not too wide) but this isn't one of them.
