Joy
I would appreciate any helpful suggestions or tips for cleaning out the large pumps used on the gal. lotion bottles. I take them apart, wash in hot soapy water, but...How do you get all of the water droplets out of the top part of the pump? The orifice is too small for paper tower or Q-tip. Hair dryer didn't work. Afraid the heat gun will melt the plastic. If there are any water droplets left in the pump, won't that lend to possible bacterial growth in the lotion? Thanks in advance for any help. Michi
It seems to me any residual water left in the pump would dry out before any kind of "yuckies" could start growing. If you're worried though, why not take a blower dryer on med-low heat and blow dry it out. Definitely don't want to use the heat gun!! Joy
I did rinse them with rubbing alcohol to help them dry out faster and hopefully sanitize them.
