countrycandles
I am new to candlemaking and this is my first time posting. I have been reading and learning from all of you on this board for some time. I feel like I know you all. I was wondering who has the best perfume dupes?
Kimberly
Best Perfume Dupes IMO are from Save on Scents. I mostly use their dupes in B&B but the ones I have put in candles are awesome! Ask mystical_angel...she has used several of their oils in soy.

giedre11
For SOS, do you have to buy their highest grade oil for it to work well?
Fern
No, you don't have to buy their highest grade to have them work well in wax. The SOS grade is great for Bath and Body products and "some" wax applications. I say "some" because I have found that the SOS grade can be hit or miss when used in wax. The Ultra Concentrate is great for use in wax. I've only had one or two scents that didn't throw very well in wax, and that could/or could not have been due to the particular wax I may have used it in, or it could simply be that it's a light scent to begin with. I haven't purchased any Extreme Concentrate because I think it's too costly and find no need for it when the Ultra Concentrate does so well. Mnhorsemom
I got 3 dupes from BCN they were Tommy, Opium and Drakkar. I love the Drakkar did cp and am testing in soy. I also cp'd the Tommy, jury is still out on that one and the Opium (to me) does not smell anything like the real perfume.
Freezin
I waxed Tommy Bahama (M) for my mom in both 4794 and Harmony blend. She says it smells a lot like it. I have never smelled the real thing before, so not sure....LOL
